25ml lemon juice
25ml sugar syrup (see below for recipe)
6-12 basil leaves
1 Muddle basil leaves in a cocktail shaker
2 Add ice and other ingredients
3 Shake it, baby!
4 Strain into an ice-filled glass
5 Garnish with a basil leaf
6 Take into the garden and enjoy!
Great summery drink for when you run out of tonic!
50ml gin, - Hotham's Original or Cardamom Gin work best!
½ lime, cut into quarters
2 tablespoons honey.
1. Muddle the lime and honey in a glass
2. Add the gin and muddle more
3. Transfer to a shaker with ice & shake it, baby!
4. Return to the glass and top with a slice of lime!
5. Prepare to be blown away! - Enjoy!

25ml fresh lemon juice
25ml sugar syrup (see below for recipe)
100ml soda water (sparkling water)
1. Add it all to a tall glass with ice.
2. Garnish with a slice of Lemon.
3. Enjoy!

15ml simple syrup (see below for recipe)
7-8 mint sprigs
1 Muddle in mint with simple syrup - do so gently to release the oils from the mint, not to grind it to a pulp.
2 Put some ice in a bag and wack it with the rolling pin to crush it, then fill the glass.
3 Add your Hotham's London Dry gin and stir.
4 Garnish with a mint sprig or dust with icing sugar.
Ingredients:
• 2 ounces of vodka (we recommend Bodka!)
• 1/2 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice
• 6 ounces of ginger beer (we recommend Fever-Tree)
• Dried lime wheel for garnish
Instructions:
1. Squeeze the lime juice into a copper mug, dropping in the squeezed lime
2. Add ice cubes to the mug and top with ginger beer
3. Serve with a string rod and dried lime wheel

Ingredients:
• 2 ounces gin
• 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
• Half ounce simple syrup
• Dried orange wheel for garnish
Instructions:
1. Fill a shaker with ice and add the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup
2. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
3. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
4. Garnish with an orange wheel.
Enjoy!
To make Sugar Syrup put 200g white sugar into a saucepan with 100ml water. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved and it starts to simmer then turn off the heat and allow to cool before using.
Store in a fridge for up to 1 week.
To make Sour Mix - add equal quantities of your Sugar Syrup to citrus juice - Lemon, Lime, whatever.
Now you have a great base for many cocktails!
