Did you know that we also now host Rum School at both Hull and Leeds?

As one door closes...

We're sad that tonight sees the last of our Virtual Gin School…for now! We’ve had a great time working on these, seeing guests create delicious gin, making it for them, and meeting so many lovely gin-lovers via Zoom. And, of course, drinking plenty of Hotham’s Gin! We're now retiring our Virtual Gin Schools for now, but along with Simon's online cocktail classes, we'll be keeping them up our sleeves for the future! Do get in touch if you think a bespoke online experience is something we can deliver for you.

Our Cardamom Gin has been an absolute winner, with our virtual guests loving it mixed with ginger ale or elderflower tonic - and this is keeping Emma extra busy in the distillery! Simon's easy, make-at-home cocktails have also been keeping you happy during lockdown - if you haven't already, go and take a look a them over on our Facebook page.

Now it’s time to look forward to reopening our Gin Schools in Hull and Leeds. There are a few changes to ensure we’re giving you the best - and safest - Gin School experience, and we’re confident you’ll have a fantastic time. We’re not the Best Experience In Yorkshire for nothing, you know! Book now to see what you’re missing!

Raiders of Dad’s Workshop

I’m from a family of craftsmen and women, so I’m used to - and love - the idea of making good use of what we already have, and using and upcycling to breathe new life into old things. Beyond gin, tea and books, this is a big interest of mine, and a curious side-effect of this is an inability to throw away anything that might be vaguely useful or interesting.
